Dosage

For first time users, it is recommended that you take 1 capsule with breakfast, and 1 capsule 30-minutes before lunch for the first 2 days. You may increase thereafter as needed. If you are hungry or are not losing weight after day 3, you should increase your capsule consumption.

As many as 6 capsules may be taken daily – 2 per meal. It is not recommended to take any capsules after 6:00 pm as it may affect sleep. The reduction of excess body weight can only be achieved by creating a net energy deficit. By causing the release of the body’s own catecholamines, ephedrine stimulates fat catabolism, and also increases energy utilization by thermogenesis (Astrup et al, 1986). The pharmacological appetite control agents used independently as single entities generally do not work well on their own due to their taxhyphylaxis properties (they tend to stop being effective after a few weeks). Therefore, appetite control agents taken with ephedrine along with other complementary ingredients actually work synergistically to increase rates of weight loss.

The effect of ephedrine for weight loss can be significant (Malchow-Moller et al 1981; Pasquali et al, 1992) and it has also been shown that ephedrine significantly improves nitrogen balance (Pasquali et al, 1992). The resulting protein-sparing effect may find its origin in preferential mobilization and utilization of fat.

Fit America RX Caps contain a variety of natural herbs which contain substances that have mild indirect stimulating effects on the sympathetic nervous system, preferably with little direct (sympathicomimetic) action. The alkaloid balance in RX Caps is almost perfect for the desired weight loss profile, in that it gives a good suppression of hunger with some mood elevation, but as Epherine alone, there are also some peripheral effects of the alkaloids, such as increase in heart rate and slight elevation of the blood pressure. The stimulant, mood-elevating effects also appear relatively slowly, but persist for a long period. Therefore, taken late in the day may result in interrupted sleep.

It should be noted that there is a wide choice of herbs that would counteract any negative cardiovascular effects of the Ephedrine. Henna was selected for a very specific reason, namely that it has been used for hundreds of years in the treatment of obesity.

There is also a benefit from the peripheral actions of the ephedrine alkaloids that is not blocked by the antagonist herbs; the effect on the fat tissue itself. It must not be assumed that weight lost is almost exclusively pure fat. Fat is present in the body in a form that can be accessed metabolically, in cells, as globules surrounded by cytoplasm. The cytoplasm is rich in protein, and has a high water content. As the globules of fat shrink, so does the cytoplasm, thus resulting in the fat free component of the weight loss. Furthermore, the actual composition of the weight loss achieved will differ slightly with the type of diet used.
